Series produced by Donna Descoteaux

Issues oriented health show - we look at broad issues that effect health such as the environment, genetically modified foods, climate change, alternative health treatments, herbs and vitamins and political issues since health and access to healthcare is a political issue.

The Living Well Show is a radio program focused on a full spectrum of issues related to health. Co-produced by Dr. Shamaan O. C. Eagle, ND and Donna Descoteaux, LCSW and hosted by Dr. Eagle, Living Well looks at issues not readily associated with health.

Environmental pollution, global warming, poverty, genetically modified foods and racism are among the topics we have featured in our programs. As a board certified Doctor of Naturopathy in practice for 35 years, Dr. Eagle has come to recognize that many of the greatest threats to health and well-being are beyond individual control and can only be addressed on a collective level.

Living Well offers a unique perspective on health and well-being by providing information on the issues that effect us all, regardless of how well we eat, sleep, exercise or use vitamins and nutritional supplements. We also strive to keep our listeners updated on the latest political developments that effect health such as the recent threat to DHSEA (Dietary Health and Supplement and Education Act). If global warming and environmental pollution continue unabated, for example - no one will be untouched by the health effects. Our premise is that the health of the world, the nation and the earth directly affects the health of each one of us - for better or worse. On Living Well we look for ways to make that affect a better one.
