After over a decade covering Congress for NPR, Andrea Seabrook has started a new show: DecodeDC. This is her attempt to stop re-playing soundbites of political attacks, and start talking about what's wrong with Washington -- and what are the solutions.

For Andrea Seabrook, covering Congress is an ever-thickening morass; a place where political attacks crowd out problem-solving on a daily basis. Her values as a journalist and commitment to honesty lead her to leave NPR and start a new show: DecodeDC. It is her attempt to stop re-playing soundbites of those political attacks, and start talking about what's wrong with Washington -- and what are the solutions.

DecodeDC already has tens of thousands of listeners and subscribers. The first episode, The House of (mis)Representatives hit #1 among news and politics podcasts on iTunes; the second episode, Mind Control made the top of iTunes' "New & Noteworthy" podcasts.

In addition to her award-winning coverage of the US Congress, Andrea was the weekend host of All Things Considered, a frequent guest host of Talk of the Nation and Weekend Edition, and before that, a writer and editor on Morning Edition, working with host Bob Edwards. Hide full description
