My Audio Universe is a literary magazine of sound featuring the best contemporary and classic short stories specially adapted to audio. More than a voice reading, our adaptations are unique in form and content. Stories are chosen for their use of language, depth, adaptability to audio and entertainment value. We publish each season - funky, fun and challenging. episode length 29:00.
Produced in cooperation with KVMR community radio for Nevada City/Sacramento, California, and though we consider My Audio Universe a "radio" show, we think of our audio adaptations as a form of digital literature we hope catches on. We offer both 59:00 and 29:00 minute programs. Stand-alone short stories are also available to fit your spoken word audio needs.
