A Bowl Of Soul is a radio program that chronicles the history of R & B music from 1949 to the present as well as play the roots of R & B such as Gospel, Jazz, Doo-Wop, Hip Hop and Rock. A Bowl of Soul is also a platform for the new wave of independent artists who continue to carry on the tradition of R & B music.
Music is a powerful tool because it has the ability to tell a story and liberate people. Music is a testimony about life. That is the goal of A Bowl of Soul..To educate the world on Soul Music, the hardworking artists, composers, arrangers, producers, old and new pioneers of a African-American musical genre that has stood the test of time since 1949.
