A selection of Radijojo's World Children's Radio projects in more than 100 countries - from Nepal to Greenland, from South Africa to Norway, from the Bronx to Berlin.

Made by children for children.

Educative - participative - from the grassroots.

All age groups. All continents. All issues.

Awarded by UNESCO, UNICEF, European commission, Internews and International Federation of Journalists.

It is clearly stated in the UN Children's Rights Convention:
Children have the right of express their opinion in the public and to have access to childfriendly information.
We adults - parents, public broadcasters, decision makers - have the duty to offer them media that "encourage international co-operation in the production, exchange and dissemination of such information and material from a diversity of cultural, national and international sources." (§17 UN Children's Rights Convention)

But still, voices of children are too often neglected in the media. Regular children's radio hardly exists in many public and community radio stations in America, Europe and worldwide - not to mention educative kids radio made by children themselves.

And international exchange of children via radio? Unthinkable?

The global, digital society of the 21st century simply cannot leave kids and their oppininions, views, sorrows and dreams out of the media. And radio won't have a future if we neglect their voices.

Should we leave the field for commercial media tycoons, political or religious extremist groups targeting our children via their channels?
Nope, you say?
Well, than this is the right place for you, since this is what Radijojo World Children's Radio is all about:

Children are our future. Let's give them a voice.
