Alyssa was a high school freshman when she produced this piece. In ten minutes.

My creative writing class shouted out literary themes, and I wrote them on the blackboard: "Love, fidelity, jealousy, trust, pride, prejudice, war, peace. . . . I asked them to pick any two themes and connect them. We wrote for ten minutes, and got some surprising results.
