An Old Time sci fi radio revival of EPIC PROPORTIONS--Dimension X! is the only radio play guaranteed to bring you the Future from the Past in the Present…Right Now. Join temporal tour guide Hailey Bopp and journey outside the limits of space and time.

Based on faithful transcriptions of the original series, this 2009 radio play revival is the loving labor of a devoted space cadet and her army of awesome robot-warriors/voice talent.

The original Dimension X aired on NBC from 1950 until 1951. Produced and directed by Fred Weihe and Edward King, the series animated the works of top science fiction authors (including Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein, and Kurt Vonnegut) and occasionally featured new material by the show's writer, Ernest Kinoy, and others. The series ended dramatically on September 29th, 1951 with an impressive transcription of Isaac Asimov’s “Nightfall.”

Luckily, the Dimension X did not end with that final sunset. Thanks to to a few happy accidents of preservation, technology, and nostalgia, the original “adventures of time and space” remained intact for a whole new generation of space cadets to drool over–or revive on their own.

Cue "Dimension X!", the 2009 revival. First broadcast on WESU 88.1FM by students at Wesleyan University, Dimension X! has now wormed its way onto the web to spread the joy of time travel, mystery, and socialist robots with everyone.

Interested in pushing the limits of your temporal comfort zone? Then, fair listener, pull up a pair of speakers and join your temporal guide, Hailey Bopp, for a wild ride the fevered Future dreams of the Past. Hide full description
