Personal essays recorded during a three month stay in Paris

The chance to spend three months living in Paris provides the background for this series of seven personal essays. Reflecting day to day experiences, these short pieces describe autumn in the Luxembourg Gardens, the run-up to the US election when Obama-mania ran high in Paris, the latest ways of getting around the city (Velib program), the 90th anniversary of Armistice Day, a concert at the Eglise de St. Sulpice, the almost daily "manifestations" that occur in the streets of Paris, and the permanent sense of ritual that surrounds "la fete de Noel".
