The inauguration of new Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was full of messages.  A heavy military/security presence signaled a sense of national crisis, restrictive rules that forced reporters to wait without food or drink for 7 hours told journalists what the new President thinks of them.  Now, ceremonies are over, and AP Brazil Bureau Chief Peter Prengaman says some of Bolsonaro’s most radical campaign promises are being fulfilled, gun rights for everyone without a criminal record, special courts to protect police who kill civilians are just 2 examples.
