Creating Your Profile
The new PRX profile is not your average profile. It is your way of getting found on PRX. Your profile tells people who you are AND what you can do.
To set it up, log in and click your name in the upper-right corner of any page. Or, go to My PRX and scroll down to User Profile.
Click "edit" next to the sections you want to fill out. The more, the better.
- Upload an image — your logo, your photo, your cat's photo.
- List your skills and equipment and say what you can do with them — report? act? do a tape sync?
- Sections on work experience and awards give you room to brag...and to attract your next collaboration.
- The mini feed is a list of things you've done on the site. To remove any item from the feed, click the "X" on the right.
- My vCard is an easy way for people to save your contact information to their personal email address books. They'll see only the information specified in your privacy settings (more on that below).
- Add pieces you've done to the playlist called Portfolio and they will appear prominently under your photo. Here's how.
PRX takes your privacy seriously. You can control who sees what profile information by clicking "Privacy settings" on the right side of your profile.
