Camino Real Productions, LLC

Camino Real Productions, LLC was founded in Albuquerque in 2006 by veteran actor/director Linda López McAlister. In Albuquerque, our theatrical productions are co-produced with the National Hispanic Cultural Center and are performed in the intimate Wells Fargo Auditorium. We then take them on tour to the Teatro Santa Ana in the Biblioteca Publica in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Our company gets its name from the fact that both Albuquerque and San Miguel de Allende are on the old Camino Real that ran from Mexico City to Santa Fe starting in the 16th Century. We specialize in small-scale, character-driven plays that travel well and delight audiences on both sides of the border.

Camino Real also produces radio theatre pieces for KUNM’s Radio Theatre. These include both original works and plays in our Theatre from the Land of Enchantment series -- radio versions of stage plays produced by the many outstanding live theater companies in Central and Northern New Mexico.
