When we claim to be "the gathering place for people who love band music," we're talking about a group of over 38 million people in the US alone. In America, hearing classical music "live" usually means hearing it at a band concert. We love marches and the music of Holst and Vaughan Williams, but the repertoire for winds is formidable.
