This artfully produced piece is actually simple: layers voices mix with music. But the simple story reveals a portrait of a small town in Maine: how people deal with death, how they get together to solve a problem. In the production, the producer also effectively tells us something about good storytelling. I'd like to hear this anywhere on the radio, where there is an 8-minute slot for a good story.
