- "Lessons From Defund the Police"
- Summary: It's been a year since the call to "Defund the Police" rang out through the George Floyd Protests. The idea isn't new - redistributing police funds into community projects that better support healthy communities -but, it's never been as popular and forceful. We take a look at some of the gains organizers have made over the past year and, we talk about the challenges.

I'd like to air this piece....but as a 55 year old broadcaster, I can't. There is not enough balance. I need to hear opinions from the other side. I heard Defund the Police and reasons...but I never heard the other side. How many murders, rapes, child abuse, domestics, scams, robberies, gang violence, gun violence, etc that go on daily that the police are dealing with...and how will those be dealt with? Your comments with Cat Brooks didn't have any rebuttal. If we're going to have a Conversation about these issues, we need to include both sides.
